WIKING enthusiasts know the model only too well, because in the 1970s they would have liked the Hanomag Henschel box sleeper train in the contemporary bi-color design of "Union Transport Betriebe". Later copies of the forwarding of course from younger years are already driven into the series, a Youngtimer manages to do so with gladly granted delay in 2015! For the first time, WIKING equips the box-type lorry with a rear lift axle - a true new-to-class combination. The first and third axle of the towing vehicle are single-masted, only the second receives a double tires - the difference can be seen from the start by the unique rim distinction. In fact, in the 1960s, Hanomag Henschel was a role model, to which the WIKING program applied in many different ways. The fact that the market concentration should develop to the detriment of the company was already foreseen in 1969, when on April 1, 1969 Rheinstahl outsourced its commercial vehicle divisions from the two companies Hanomag and Henschel and they in the newly founded Hanomag-Henschel-Fahrzeugwerke GmbH, based in Hannover brought together. The strategic interest of Daimler-Benz was clear at the latest at this time, because one acquired with 51% the majority in the traditional vehicle manufacturer. From now on, the vehicles continued to be upgraded in series and received the new company logo "Hanomag-Henschel". In the background, Daimler-Benz AG came a good deal closer to its strategic goal of being the first company to create a "full liner" capable of producing everything from transporters to long-distance trains. At the end of 1970, Rheinstahl's economic fortunes struck so that the remaining shares also moved to Daimler-Benz. The only young composite brand "Hanomag Henschel" was thus granted a short existence, before later, as expected, the Mercedes-Benz star on the radiator grille praised.

Returns
Sometimes things don't work out, and that's fine! We are happy to issue refunds for new, unopened items that have been sold and fulfilled here at House of Hobbies, within 30 days of delivery. Return costs for non faulty items are at the buyers expense. We will not issue refunds for multiple purchases of the same product at all so this should be taken into consideration when purchasing quantities of an item, whether for collecting or resale. Refunds on returned Pre Ordered items will only be issued as store credit.
Your refund will be sent to you after we have received the product back, and you should receive a full refund within four weeks at the latest (but in most cases, it will be far quicker - this time period just covers transit time for us receive the product back, send it to our distributor, and get a new one back if necessary, then have your refund processed by the bank). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
If you need to send something back then please package it accordingly and post it to House of Hobbies, Unit F, Platts Lane Industrial Estate, Burscough, West Lancashire, L40 7TP and please include a little note explaining why it's coming back to us and your order number.
