Paper mills are some of the busiest spots along many railroads. The HO Scale Walthers Cornerstone Superior Paper Recovery Boiler House kit is a vital part of your layout's mill complex. Brown stock, the fibre and water solution produced in the Kraft mill, is concentrated in the recovery boiler via evaporation into a substance called black liquor. As the level of concentration increases, raw rosin is created, skimmed off the top, mixed with other chemicals and heated to produce tall oil. The tall oil is stored in tanks and shipped by rail or truck to manufacturers who use it in the production of glue, rubber, ink, soap and lubricants. The remaining black liquor is burned in the boiler to generate steam and energy for the entire facility. Other cooking chemicals are recovered at this stage for reuse in the paper mill.
The Recovery Boiler House will look great near other Superior Paper Co. mill buildings. If used by itself, this building makes a great addition to many modern industries.

Here at House of Hobbies, all orders are sent via Royal Mail 48HR Tracked and will normally be dispatched within 2 to 3 working days of acceptance of order. Items marked as 'Available' will typically be shipped within 7-14 days as we call them in from supply

Returns
Sometimes things don't work out, and that's fine! We are happy to issue refunds for new, unopened items that have been sold and fulfilled here at House of Hobbies, within 30 days of delivery. Return costs for non faulty items are at the buyers expense. We will not issue refunds for multiple purchases of the same product at all so this should be taken into consideration when purchasing quantities of an item, whether for collecting or resale. Refunds on returned Pre Ordered items will only be issued as store credit.
Your refund will be sent to you after we have received the product back, and you should receive a full refund within four weeks at the latest (but in most cases, it will be far quicker - this time period just covers transit time for us receive the product back, send it to our distributor, and get a new one back if necessary, then have your refund processed by the bank). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
If you need to send something back then please package it accordingly and post it to House of Hobbies, Unit F, Platts Lane Industrial Estate, Burscough, West Lancashire, L40 7TP and please include a little note explaining why it's coming back to us and your order number.
