1:87 Scale model of class E52 Electric Locomotive in Era III DRG livery details.
The train set contains the electric locomotive E 52 22, a covered goods wagon type Gr, a open goods wagon loaded with trunks type O, a hinged-lid wagon type K, a stake wagon loaded with turf type Rs, a tank wagon and a caboose.
In the first procurement plan for new vehicles of the German Reichsbahn, subdivision Bavaria, was also an electric locomotive for the heavy passenger traffic listed that was to be operated on the electrified lines in Bavaria. Numerous designs were considered and a 2‘BB2’ locomotive was chosen. The engine was placed in two sections on a continuous frame. Each section contained two motors that together powered an axle drive shaft with gears. This again drives a jackshaft with angeled crankshafts that is coupled with coupling rods to two drive shafts. Not to exeed the maximum allowed axle load the machines were each equipped with a two axel pivoted forward bogie or a pivoted bypass bogie. The locomotive chassis was built onto the frame with the two driver's cabs at the end. The body was built by Maffei and the electric equipment was supplied by WASSEG which was a joint venture of two companies, AEG and SSW.

Returns
Sometimes things don't work out, and that's fine! We are happy to issue refunds for new, unopened items that have been sold and fulfilled here at House of Hobbies, within 30 days of delivery. Return costs for non faulty items are at the buyers expense. We will not issue refunds for multiple purchases of the same product at all so this should be taken into consideration when purchasing quantities of an item, whether for collecting or resale. Refunds on returned Pre Ordered items will only be issued as store credit.
Your refund will be sent to you after we have received the product back, and you should receive a full refund within four weeks at the latest (but in most cases, it will be far quicker - this time period just covers transit time for us receive the product back, send it to our distributor, and get a new one back if necessary, then have your refund processed by the bank). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
If you need to send something back then please package it accordingly and post it to House of Hobbies, Unit F, Platts Lane Industrial Estate, Burscough, West Lancashire, L40 7TP and please include a little note explaining why it's coming back to us and your order number.
