The De Havilland DH 104 Dove was a British short-haul airliner developed as a monoplane successor to the pre-war Dragon Rapide and took its first flight in September 1945, going into production a year later. Production lasted until 1967.
Former WWII pilot Harold Bamburg launched Eagle Aviation Ltd on 14th April 1948 with an investment of £100 and the company operated domestic and international flights for a further 20 years until 1968 when it went into liquidation. The name changed to British Eagle International Airways in 1963.
Our model from the British Eagle period was named ‘Eaglet’ and is decorated in the company livery of silver, red and white with black graphics. The interior and passenger seating is moulded red. The aircraft number is printed on the starboard upper and underwing, as well as along the rear fuselage. Note too, the Union Flag printed in front of the British Eagle name behind the cockpit window. Two final details see the Eagle ‘E’ logo in the shape of the bird printed on the tail fin/rudder and the ‘Eaglet’ name printed on each side of the fuselage below the cockpit.

Returns
Sometimes things don't work out, and that's fine! We are happy to issue refunds for new, unopened items that have been sold and fulfilled here at House of Hobbies, within 30 days of delivery. Return costs for non faulty items are at the buyers expense. We will not issue refunds for multiple purchases of the same product at all so this should be taken into consideration when purchasing quantities of an item, whether for collecting or resale. Refunds on returned Pre Ordered items will only be issued as store credit.
Your refund will be sent to you after we have received the product back, and you should receive a full refund within four weeks at the latest (but in most cases, it will be far quicker - this time period just covers transit time for us receive the product back, send it to our distributor, and get a new one back if necessary, then have your refund processed by the bank). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
If you need to send something back then please package it accordingly and post it to House of Hobbies, Unit F, Platts Lane Industrial Estate, Burscough, West Lancashire, L40 7TP and please include a little note explaining why it's coming back to us and your order number.
