10-874 Express Niseko 6-Car Additional Set

In the late 1940s, a train that was at the top of the SL boom at that time was the express train "Niseko" connecting Hakodate and Sapporo.
Express "Niseko", which appeared in the October 1980 revision of Japan's white paper, called "Yon Sang To", traveled across the Hakodate main line from Hakodate to Otaru, Sapporo, and Asahikawa through a long section, and Honshu via the Seikan tie ship. It supported the flow of large people with Hokkaido and the distribution of mail and parcels.
Especially in the Hakodate Main Line between Otaru and Nagamanbu, commonly known as "Yama Line", auxiliary equipment is connected at the head, and it is a talkative grass as the top of the SL boom where large steamers C62 run in tandem.
After the farewell Michiren on September 15, 1971 (1951), the operation will be by DD 51 double-run, the second unit will be stored in the plum alley steam locomotive building, and the C623 third unit will be on September 30, 1973 (1973) Active to smokeless of the day, was scrapped, was preserved, but on division privatization to JR, revival of miracle in 1987 (1987) and active as November "C62 Niseko" until November 1995 Did. Currently, it is quietly stored at the Naeho Plant Railway Technology Center in JR Hokkaido.
Suhafu 44 and Suha 45 are "Hokkaido-shaped" Suha 43 express trains. It was active not only in honors trains but also in ordinary trains with equipment specific to Hokkaido type such as large storage battery boxes and gear type generators, and was active until the end of JNR (1986).

The mail carrier, Oyu 10, was owned by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (at that time) and was connected to JNR's luggage trains and passenger trains, transporting mail pieces across Japan. The railway network stretched throughout the country supported the transport of mail, but while rapid delivery is required due to the development of aircraft and truck transport, transport by rail was completely abolished in 1986 (1986) I erased the A mail car Oyu 10 and a luggage car manifold 36 appeared in a single item vehicle that can easily reproduce the figure that was active in mail and parcel transportation.
Mani 36, a luggage passenger car, was created by converting superior passenger cars etc. for luggage transportation. In the later years, it was remodeled from general car Suha 32 etc., and a total of more than 230 cars were born and supported the increasing parcel transportation.
