The Kiha 181 series is an express-type pneumatic vehicle that was launched with the aim of improving the transportation capacity of trunk and sub- arterial lines based on regional cities and speeding up mountain routes. It debuted as a limited express Shinano in 1968.
From February 1970, it appeared as a limited express "Tsubasa" between Ueno and Akita. In the steep section of the Itaya Pass between Fukushima and Yonezawa, although the auxiliary power connection of Kiha 80 series was canceled by its strong horsepower, from frequent occurrence of engine trouble, help of auxiliary engine EF71 again from 1973 (1973) It will be rented, and it has been active until it is replaced by the 485-type express train in the full-line electrification of the Ou main line in November in 1975 (1975).
KATO will accurately commercialize Tsubasa from the Kiha 181 era to reproduce the heyday of the Ueno-Akita diesel express Tsubasa. · Manufacturing with a new mold reproduces the appearance that the tablet catcher removal mark / protector plate remains.
-The dolly accurately reproduces the DT40 (TR 219), which is different from the initial form with a distinctive link-type axle box support structure.
-Head / tail light is standard equipment only on the top car Kiha 181 of the basic set. It is not equipped with Kiha 181 of the additional set.
-The Kiha 181 of the add-on set has been fitted with a front through-hole holo. The floor plate of the intermediate car is a toilet sink pipe specification.
• The basic set includes a dedicated snow plow and knuckle coupler for knuckle couplers that support connection with the EF71.
· The middle connector is equipped with a body-mounted KATO coupler stretch tight self-aligned type, and reproduces the realistic connection surface spacing.
-Equipped with a power unit with a flywheel.
· Train mark is equipped with "Tsubasa" as standard. Only the basic set comes with a replacement "Aoba" and "Shinano". (All characters)
-Both basic and additional sets have a destination display sticker corresponding to the train name and a roof top part. Electric coupler is included only in the basic set.
· 7 both basic set: 7 both book case, 5 both addition set: 7 both book case (locomotive + 5 both type book case. EF71 can be stored.)

Returns
Sometimes things don't work out, and that's fine! We are happy to issue refunds for new, unopened items that have been sold and fulfilled here at House of Hobbies, within 30 days of delivery. Return costs for non faulty items are at the buyers expense. We will not issue refunds for multiple purchases of the same product at all so this should be taken into consideration when purchasing quantities of an item, whether for collecting or resale. Refunds on returned Pre Ordered items will only be issued as store credit.
Your refund will be sent to you after we have received the product back, and you should receive a full refund within four weeks at the latest (but in most cases, it will be far quicker - this time period just covers transit time for us receive the product back, send it to our distributor, and get a new one back if necessary, then have your refund processed by the bank). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
