3085-1 EF63 primary type JR specification

The Shinetsu Line between Yokogawa and Karuizawa, which is indispensable for railway history in Japan, was abolished on September 30, 1997. Among railway fans, it is still passed down as a legendary samurai.
KATO continues to reproduce this "?" as an N-gauge "?" series, focusing on the EF63.
Further enhancement of the ice floe series. It is a release of EF63 1st form JR specification.
The vehicle is equipped with high adhesion performance and braking performance in a slope section of up to 66.7 ‰ as a steep slope special-purpose machine, and the external appearance is also equipped with various jumper plugs and double-headed connectors for connecting other vehicles on the 2 end side. It features a unique appearance not found on other locomotives, such as large battery check lids for blackouts and electromagnetic adsorption brakes. Other than general control correspondence with EF62, since 1968 (1968), I was also able to cope with coordinated operation with the 169/189/485 system.

The first-model mass-produced machines (Nos. 2 to 13) were offset in the left by the small-sized internal-bimmer type taillight in the group manufactured in 1963 reflecting the various test results of the first prototype. It is characterized by the difference in the shape of drainage on the lightning arrester and the crew door and the shape of the auxiliary handle.

The second-generation mass-production machine is a group that was added by 1969 to cope with the gradually increasing transport volume after the start of operation, and the large inner-bamming taillight of the mounting seat moves to the center of the vehicle body It features a lightning arrester.

The 3rd-order mass production machines are a group that was added between 1974 and 51 (1976). In terms of appearance, the license plate is blocked, the outer tail type taillight, the arranged jumper plug mounting frame, The feature is that the jumper plug has been changed from KE63 to KE77.

As for the EF63 of grape No. 2 that was seen at the end of JR, all EF63 four cars (18, 19.24, 25) that were all over the period from Feb. Competed in the first 2 form of grape-colored, reminiscent of the appearance of the primary form, added a color to the EF63 final flower path. It seems that I often saw combinations of heavy browns.

Both, we will commercialize the C` radio antenna and the figure after JRization with the head mark stay added to the 1 end side.
