On October 1, 1964, a completely new high-speed railway was born between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka. The name is Tokaido Shinkansen. With the ever-increasing number of customers, it was the opening of a new high-speed passenger railway while the conventional Tokaido Main Line was approaching its limit. Taking over the concept of the bullet train that existed before the war, it adopted a standard gauge without level crossing at the grade crossing, and it was a unique high-speed railway in Japan that renewed from the power supply to the signal system.
While railways are becoming steeped all over the world, they not only made a major contribution to Japan's development during the high-growth period, but also made the world known about the superiority of high-speed railways, and later developed TGV and ICE in Europe. The “SHINKANSEN” has become a universal language.
The 0 series Shinkansen trains have been operating for the first time in the world for more than 200 km per hour, and have been active for 44 years from the time of opening to retirement. With the body shape reminiscent of an aircraft, and the head part called Dango nose that feels love, it still boasts great popularity even now retired.
The 0 series has been active for a long time since its appearance, but improvements are also continued as it is expanded, and it is 2000 series that appeared in 1977 (1981) as its final form. The accommodation (service facilities) has been significantly changed and upgraded to the same level as the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen 200 series.

Here at House of Hobbies, all orders are sent via Royal Mail 48HR Tracked and will normally be dispatched within 2 to 3 working days of acceptance of order. Items marked as 'Available' will typically be shipped within 7-14 days as we call them in from supply

Returns
Sometimes things don't work out, and that's fine! We are happy to issue refunds for new, unopened items that have been sold and fulfilled here at House of Hobbies, within 30 days of delivery. Return costs for non faulty items are at the buyers expense. We will not issue refunds for multiple purchases of the same product at all so this should be taken into consideration when purchasing quantities of an item, whether for collecting or resale. Refunds on returned Pre Ordered items will only be issued as store credit.
Your refund will be sent to you after we have received the product back, and you should receive a full refund within four weeks at the latest (but in most cases, it will be far quicker - this time period just covers transit time for us receive the product back, send it to our distributor, and get a new one back if necessary, then have your refund processed by the bank). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
If you need to send something back then please package it accordingly and post it to House of Hobbies, Unit F, Platts Lane Industrial Estate, Burscough, West Lancashire, L40 7TP and please include a little note explaining why it's coming back to us and your order number.
